Matchbox

This is the ultimate classic toy, well at least in my time! It's the best thing a little boy could get, I got my passion for cars from this toy. What's so cool about it is that it's just about the size of your palm... Anyway i got this awesome Warman's Matchbox Field Guide from my brother, it has all the classic matchbox toys in it. It is definitely a collectible!

Art luck

We are avid followers of this site www.artsignsinteriors.com, though a bit too contemporary for me they have a lot of fresh and interesting ideas. They happened to put up a Jagger tiger claw contest, it's a special type of art that looks like a tiger claw, here's a photo of it.
pretty cool ei? Anyway to make the long story short, you basically get a chance to win this type of art, all you have to do is fill up a form on their site and you are automatically in the game. My lucky ass cuz'n happened to fill it up, just out of spite, results came in and then this http://www.artsignsinteriors.com/contest.php#main_body believe it or not as quoted " OUT OF THE 675 PEOPLE THAT VISITED OUR JAGGER CLAW CONTEST PAGE 10 FILLED OUT THE FORM AND ENTERED TO WIN, WE'VE DECIDED TO ANNOUNCE. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THAT ALL 10 ENTRIES WIN, WINNING SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED FROM SOUTH AFRICA, PHILIPPINES, USA, CANADA." Say what again? Philippines? hahaha We never believed it until he got an email from the site to confirm his address, they asked for one condition and that's to submit a photo of the art piece displayed with the winner in the photo. Unfortunately he has to leave for Canada so that leaves me as the soul recipient, wow! I get to have a photo in their site. Something very inetersting indeed.

Cross section

This was designed by Justin Sagolili, who happens to be my cousin. He made this out of guava tree branches cut cross sectionally and glued it on a wooden frame. He hanged it inside the wash room and the other one above the sink. It looks awesome! I took these photos in his house. We are trying to come up with some designs and hope someday, sell our ideas.

troodie

This is our dog named troodie, a crossbreed between a dalmatian and a Labrador retriever. She's a survivor of a parvovirus, a kind of viral illness which predominantly affects young puppies between 6 weeks and 6 months of age. Without treatment approximately 80% of affected puppies will die. Otherwise, with appropriate remedy approximately 85% of affected puppies will survive. The virus may persist in the environment for up to 5 months. Infection generally follows exposure to infected feces. The major clinical signs are vomiting and diarrhea. The diarrhea is usually yellow to yellow gray at first but quickly becomes blood tinged or dark red in most cases. So if you're planning to get a puppy, better give him parvo shots. They cost about 800 pesos each. She actually had a sibling named bam2x, unfortunately we were not able to save him from this disease.
Luckily after a shot of the parvo vaccine and 5 litters of normal saline solution she was able to recover. Now shes able to do a few tricks. Me and my brother helped train her. Check her out!

Absinthe Party At The Fly Honey Warehouse

Hey, let's cross the sea
and get some culture.
Red wine with every meal
and absinthe after dinner.
We'd look good side by side
walking back to the hotel

We've got to get something
to eat and to drink yeah,
and find a place to stay
that's not far off the main way-
we've got to plan our day:
Rodin at D'Orsay
and find a way to cram it all in
before we drink hard again

Let's get a bottle and drink alone tonight
Let's get a bottle and drink alone tonight

'This light looks good on you,'
morning came early.
Sitting on a park bench
that's older than my country
Two star hotel
near St. Germain.
Two star hotel
where the stars don't mean anything

prolly the best travel song in the world! you can watch this video at this link absinthe party ejoy!

a unique souvenir

This plant is from N.Y. I took it from the Rockefeller center, thought something living would make a good souvenir of a particular place. I do not know exactly what the scientific name or the common name of this plant, anyone? I'm desperate to make it adapt to our local weather that I talk to it often times haha crazy! Read about an article though that talking to a plant makes it greener, perhaps its due to the carbon dioxide were emitting, makes sense to me.
