Absinthe Party At The Fly Honey Warehouse

Hey, let's cross the sea
and get some culture.
Red wine with every meal
and absinthe after dinner.
We'd look good side by side
walking back to the hotel

We've got to get something
to eat and to drink yeah,
and find a place to stay
that's not far off the main way-
we've got to plan our day:
Rodin at D'Orsay
and find a way to cram it all in
before we drink hard again

Let's get a bottle and drink alone tonight
Let's get a bottle and drink alone tonight

'This light looks good on you,'
morning came early.
Sitting on a park bench
that's older than my country
Two star hotel
near St. Germain.
Two star hotel
where the stars don't mean anything

prolly the best travel song in the world! you can watch this video at this link absinthe party ejoy!

a unique souvenir

This plant is from N.Y. I took it from the Rockefeller center, thought something living would make a good souvenir of a particular place. I do not know exactly what the scientific name or the common name of this plant, anyone? I'm desperate to make it adapt to our local weather that I talk to it often times haha crazy! Read about an article though that talking to a plant makes it greener, perhaps its due to the carbon dioxide were emitting, makes sense to me.

Bottles

These simple bottles would make a difference in your home. . These are old Tanduay, Sola, and soya milk bottles which I covered it with used cork and placed some leaves in it. . Just junk, but you can turn it into something else. .

Minor improvements

Have you ever had one of these electric fans that look like a tool for cutting grass?? It's an awfully ugly thing that's boring to look at. Well, here's the thing you can paint it to make it look more slick! Here I used a yellow paint to enhance the blades and painted the entire casing with black, except for a small strip at the back which I also painted yellow to make it blend with the blades, I also removed the rear casing to give it a classic look. . Now it looks cooler, whip up some sick logos and you're done. It's kinda like those engines for powered parachute now, well at least it doesn't look like a grass cutting machine anymore.

Crafts aco concepts

I made this from Ilang2x tree twigs, I was just bored and decided to make a twig art.
No money spent, easy way of making a simple decoration for your house.

This is made from old wooden frames with different shades, I kinda like the color blend, it's all "earthy". An idea just popped out, why put to waste these frames when u can still make something out of it. Spent only ten pesos in total, 5 for nails and the other half for the sand papers.
I believe that the wall clock is the thing that is mostly viewed by anyone who enters your house or technically by anybody inside your house, so you should get or make a decent one. This is a wall clock I made from old window frames, I used a rubber cement, some tiny nails and a white spray paint for the hands to enhance it from the wood, the old one was a hello kitty wall clock. I had to do something about it. Turned out to be pretty nice, at least better than the kitty clock. Spent only 65 pesos, 20 for the lacquer varnish, 15 for the brush, 3o for the rubber cement.
I love frames, it's neat and tidy. These are frames I bought in ayala for 180 pesos each, I decided to frame the leaves I gathered during our U.S. trip, it's oneway of bringing nature inside your house. . If youre that type of persn who's a nature lover then this would be a nice idea.

Bringing nature inside your home

This is my own tank, its a little simple compared to the pros, just a few low maintenance plants .

a few drift woods, tried to make it look like a tree but it turned out to be like a lion instead hehe

This is a helicopter placo, it's a rare specie.
Got it from Singapore, it seems to be adapting
pretty well in my tank.

Rescued furniture

This old chest is from our ancestral house in Valencia, Bohol. It's a shame they don't realize the value of the old stuffs in there, it was all dusty and abandoned so I decided to clean it, with the help of some good ol' sand papers, few tools, lacquer, and determination, I can say that I did a pretty good job, too bad I don't have a before photo. By the way this is forsale, anyone interested?

My influence

This girl is my influence, as a matter of fact she has her own blog which is about her 365 yellow days experience, she brings an array of colors from the brightest to the darkest ones , make no mistake she has a ruthless heart, word of warning, stay away from her, she is very dangerous hehehe. I'm still trying to figure out how to unlock the spell she has yielded on me. . But non the less she has an interesting character so she deserves a spot in this blog. She goes by the name of Kym Astrid Serrano Ramos..

This is how I see the world

This material is about all the things I find interesting, everything from arts, crafts, hobbies, colors, concepts, pets, nature, travel, food, culture or just about anything beautiful life has to offer. It's a wonderful world out there and this is my tribute to the very being of these things.
